What's cooking?

Hi there! My name is Lauren Migge and I am an Arts Management major at Appalachian State University. I am certainly no chef or baker, but I have always had a passion for food and for creating. That is what pushed me to start this blog.

Watching cartoons was a common past time for me growing up. I would see animated food all the time and wonder what it would be like to eat those drawings! However, they were only that- drawings. Merely lines on paper. Through this journey I aim to not only learn more about cooking and baking and the skills it takes to create food that resembles that of a cartoon, but to share my discoveries with others and maybe help them live out their dream of recreating a 2D treat.
